June 13, 2011. Yes! Its that time once again, The Greg Mayo Band hits Rockwood Stage 2 rocking our monthly residency. This time its special for 3 reasons... Those of you who have been in the trenches with us from the beginning remember the incredible Matt Abatelli on tenor sax, who is just as much to blame for the creation of this motley band as I am. He and the equally integral Erik White will be on the gig!!! The 3rd reason is that our good friend Paul McCartney will be playing only a few miles to the north at Yankee Stadium, only because Rockwood was booked with our show. March 4, 2010. So, Yea... It's been a little while since we've talked. Whats going on and all that? In case you're wondering we've been playing shows in the usual hotspots.
