4/22/2008. Wow! I'm a big, procrastinating jerk. It has been far too long since I updated you all on the GregMayo.net news. Here it is in a nutshell: WE HAVE COMPLETED THE RECORD!!!! After a year and a half of 'Universal Communication' has been mixed and mastered and will be sent off to the replication plant later this week. Check out our MySpace page for some new songs from the record! Big thanks to Jon Jetter for recording and mixing the whole thing. Also, GregMayo.net will be given a new face, and the band a new name to coincide with this release. The Greg Mayo band will be born! Come out to the Bitter End on May 24th for the CD Release Party. 10/16/2007. Hey everyone, I know it's been quite a while since I updated this page, but to be perfectly honest... There wasn't a whole lot to report on. We've been spending alot of time in the studio recently working on this new record. Everything sounds amazing, and soon we'll have some rough mixes of songs to put up on our MySpace page. On a somewhat related note, we will be debuting 3, count em, 3 new songs at our next show in NYC. BE THERE!... See you all soon! "Goonies never say die!"
5/10/2007. Hi All, welcome back to GregMayo.net. A few months ago, we had taken a short hiatus from gigging. Well... As you can see (if you check the tour page), that hiatus is over! We have 10 or so shows coming up in the next couple months, hitting all of our favorite venues, as well as a couple new places. We've been working on the album. It's coming along, relatively slowly, but it really sounds amazing. Check out our MySpace page, I recently put up a live recording of "Waiting for You", a tune that will be on the record, once its ready. Hope all is we'll, well see you soon!
